So, you want to know how the “Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens” was, without hearing any spoilers? We’ve got you covered.

“Oh, it was awesome!  It was unbelievable!” according to the first guy out the door from the 7pm screening at Showcase Cinema in Revere on Thursday night.

Like a sci-fi time machine, he told us it made him feel like a kid again.

“It’s like 1977 again for me. It’s awesome!”

And the REAL kids we spoke with gave it a thumbs-up too.

One youngster who couldn’t stop smiling said “I just liked all the action!”

Talking to the crowd, the lobby had a feel of an amusement park ride.

Many of the people we spoke with were ready to get in line again.

Typical responses to our question “Would you see it again in the theater?” included:

“We have to go again”, “I already have tickets to see it again” and one man who told us “I’m coming back tomorrow, probably twice.”

That’s from a guy who just spent 18 hours sitting through the first six movies of the Star Wars saga during the movie marathon hosted by the theater.

It started with “Episode 1: The Phantom Menace” at 3:30 Thursday morning.

He said seeing all the movies back-to-back was the perfect way to do it.

“It’s funny, the closer you get to Episode 7, the more sort of jazzed you become and you get this sort of second wind after ‘Return of the Jedi’”, he says.

“By the time ‘The Force Awakens’ started I was very much wide awake, on-point and very into it.  It was just fantastic!”

“It’s the best Star Wars movie I’ve seen so far,” said another marathoner.

“Better than all the original six. I’m a big fan of the extended universe, and there’s a lot of extended universe stuff in that movie. It is really exciting, really exciting!”
