A Boston traffic reporter is starting a big transformation.
WBZ’s Scott Eck, has now come out at Kristen Eck.
She revealed during her live broadcast that she identifies as a female now.
Eck says she knew when she was just 5 years old that she was meant to live as a girl.
The reporter has been undergoing hormone therapy and says she will have sex reassignment surgery in a year.
Eck will continue to report traffic for WBZ.
