Massachusetts State Police arrested two suspects after a police pursuit that ended in Woburn.

At around 10 a.m. Wednesday, Lawrence Police attempted to stop a Jeep Cherokee as part of an ongoing investigation according to State Police spokesman David Procopio. The Cherokee’s driver allegedly refused to stop and took Route 495 south. State Police troopers joined in the pursuit that led to Woburn.

State Police said Odain Mark bailed out of the Cherokee and ran inside the Woburn Racquetball Club. Jodie Ferioli, who was working at the front desk, said Mark ran into the bathroom. She then got a phone call from her boss, saying the police were looking for a suspect.

"As I look in the mirror, he comes out of the bathroom and I tell people to take shelter," said Ferioli. "And we ran into the back room and locked the back door and the next thing I know, there were police everywhere with guns and rifles." Mark was arrested at the racquetball club.

Police said the driver of the car, Keith Jones, continued on to Wilmington and Billerica before ditching the vehicle in the parking lot of Shawsheen Valley Technical High School. Jones was arrested in the parking lot.

Two schools in Burlington, Marshall Simonds Middle School and Memorial Elementary School, were placed in lockdown during the search according to the Burlington Police Department. State Police said that during the search, one of their dogs suffered a leg injury. The German Shepherd, Dakota, is expected to make a full recovery.

The two suspects will face a judge in Woburn on Thursday.
