Boston has banned taxpayer-funded travel to North Carolina.
Mayor Marty Walsh signed it into law Wednesday, after city councilors approved the ban.
It’s in response to North Carolina’s law that prevents a transgender person from using a public bathroom that matches his or her gender identity.
