A 5-year-old girl in Texas has been credited with saving her mother’s life after she suffered a seizure while swimming.

Tracy Anderwald was in the pool when she suffered a seizure and nearly drowned. Her daughter, Allison, noticed something was wrong and dove into the water. Surveillance video shows Allison pulling her mother to the shallow end of the pool. She turned Anderwald over and pulled her head above the water before running inside for help.

"She was really heavy and I could only get the top part of her out and then her other daughters ran over and helped me get her out," said Allison’s aunt, Tedra Hunt. "And so Allison was able to do that on her own and so it’s a miracle."

Allison has been swimming since she was 2 years old. She and her mother are both doing fine.
