A bicyclist was struck and injured during a hit-and-run crash in Wellesley on Friday. 

Police said the crash happened at the intersection of Hampshire Road and Bristol Road in Wellesley and the driver fled the scene. 

The victim, a 47-year-old Framingham man, was unconscious after he was struck by the truck.

He was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston for evaluation, and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Hours after the crash, police said they identified the driver as 21-year-old Connor Campanelli of Wellesley.

According to police, Campanelli voluntarily came to the police station on Friday for questioning. He was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury, operating under the influence of liquor and causing a serious accident, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, and failture to keep right for oncoming traffic.

Campanelli was released on $3,000 bail. He will be arraigned at Dedham District Court on Monday.

Investigators said  the victim was wearing reflectors and a helmet. The bike had lights as well.
