Police arrested a 28-year-old man Maine man on Friday after he allegedly pinned a man between two cars during a domestic dispute. 

Andrew Melendez, 28, of Kittery, Maine, is facing charges of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and armed assault with intent to kill, according to police. 

Police are continuing their investigation and say more charges could be filed. 

At around 5:25 p.m., police responded to Caddell Avenue for a fight between two men. 

Police say a man entered the victim’s car and began driving it pinning the victim between two cars. 

A witnesses applied a tourniquet to the victim’s leg to stop the bleeding, according to police.

The victim was taken to Lowell General Hospital and later by helicopter to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
