Worcester Police have arrested a 40-year old Connecticut man in connection with a recent theft of skeletal remains in Worcester.

Felix Delgado, 40, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, is facing right counts of disintering bodies, according to Worcester Police. Authorities have also charged Delgado as a fugitive from justice.

Police say say Delgado is awaiting return to Worcester.

Police arrested Delgado while assisting Bridgeport police in a drug investigation on Tuesday. Authorities found the remains inside Delgado’s home.

Detectives think the remains could be linked to the skeletal remains thefts from two mausoleums at the Hope Cemetery in Worcester.

The Connecticut Medical Examiner’s Office plans to examine the remains to confirm they are linked to the cemetery, according to Worcester Police.

in December 2015, Worcester Police charged 32-year-old Amador Medina in connection with the remains theft.
