A Boston Police officer recently lent a helping hand to a woman in West Roxbury.
Officer John Quinn saw an elderly woman trying to remove a block of snow and ice from the front of her house, so he stopped to help her.
Officer Quinn said it was just the right thing to do, but also admitted the lady reminded him of his own mother.
