A Norton high school wrestler helped a special needs wrestler win a wrestling match on Saturday.

After Norton wrestler Deven Schuko won his varsity match, the teams paired up with Dighton-Rehoboth wrestlers for its junior varsity squad competition.

"[Schuko] said, ‘coach, how about me? Can I wrestle with Andy?’" said Norton wrestling coach Patrick Coleman of Schuko’s offer to wrestle Andy Howland, a special needs wrestler.

Schuko allowed Howland to win.

Howland, as seen on a video captured by a parent in the stands, pinned Schuko, ending Schuko’s 27-match winning streak.

"He was good. He was strong. Like I said, he put me in that front headlock," Schuko said.
