A man on trial in connection with a serious accident on the Arborway in Jamaica Plain was found guilty of negligent operation of a motor vehicle Tuesday.
Prosecutors say Nikolas Papadopoulos was speeding when he caused that accident in September 2013.
According to police, the teen’s car jumped a median and hit a truck on the Arborway in Jamaica Plain.
Five people, including Papadopoulos, were hurt. Two people suffered serious injuries.
Papadopolous is now 20-years-old.
Sentencing will be Feb. 3 and he faces up to two years in prison.
