Six people were arrested on Monday after airport workers marched in protest at Logan International Airport.

In commemoration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, contracted airport workers, along with workers in 10 other cities, organized a large scale civil disobedience demanding a minimum of $15 per hour of pay.

Massport, which operates the airport, issued a statement:

At $11 per hour, Massport’s minimum wage at Logan Airport is $1 per hour above the state’s minimum wage – the highest minimum wage in the state.

According to State Police, around 12:55 p.m. troopers ordered the group of about 110 to disperse from a terminal. All but six protesters left.

Michael Gallagher, 67 of Boston; Marvin Martin, 61 of Dorchester; Mary Lombos, 41 of Roxbury; Jacqueline Wesley, 51 of Roxbury; Yusuf Farah, 57 of Cambridge; and Roxana Rivera, 46 of Warwick, R.I. were booked on trespassing charges.
