Crews responded to a home on Monday after reports of a suicide by cyanide. 

The person was taking to Emerson Hospital in Concord. 

Hazardous materials crews are now on scene. 

Monday afternoon, the Concord Fire Department released a statement:

Concord Fire-Rescue was requested to respond to Emerson Hospital for a Haz-Mat situation this morning. Maynard FD transported a Patient to Emerson Hospital Emergency Department. Emerson Hospital’s ER staff determined that the patient maybe contaminated with an unknown chemical. Concord Fire was requested to respond.Concord Fire o/a requested the Mass Department of Fire Services Haz-Mat team. Concord Fire is currently on scene being assisted by MA DFS Haz-MatTeam. Emerson Hospital is operating normally
