Boston Police say SWAT Cat has returned.
Exactly one month after police reached out to the public for help finding their SWAT team’s cat, officers from the BPD Special Weapons and Tactics Team saw their mascot return to their base on Warren Street in Roxbury.
The cat was a stray Calico kitty until 2013 when she started skulking around the team’s base, especially around meal time, police said.
"The SWAT Team wants to thank the community for keeping an eye out for the feline and for all the calls and emails of support," Boston Police said on Thursday. "The officers are just happy that she was safe all this time."
