History was made, again, by a group of Michigan women dressed as Rosie the Riveter.

Organizers say 2,097 women turned out yesterday to pose for the photo at the Old Willow Run Bomber Plant about 30 miles south of Detroit.

All of the women dressed as Rosie the Riveter, the iconic World War II image used to recruit female industrial workers.

Organizers say among some of the women in the crowd were those who answered the call years ago.

"We had 43 original woman who worked for the war effort. Many of them worked right here at Willow Run," said Chairwoman Nancy Zajac.

The group set the World Record in 2014 but then a group in California broke it.

But the Guinness World Record Book folks say this weekend’s photo re-captured the record.
