The much-anticipated matchup between 3-0 Tim Caputo and 3-0 Dan Hausle was…well, not quite what we expected.

The two high-flying teams matched up for a less-than-stellar battle, with Caputo proving victorious in an 83-66 final. Caputo posed his smallest output of the year, but Hausle struggled to pull enough points out of usually strong options like Julio Jones, Travis Kelce, and Arian Foster.

Caputo even posted a donut, playing Alshon Jeffrey, but 32 points by Falcons RB Devonta Freeman was nearly half of his opponent’s total.

Elsewhere, Joe Amorosino won a battle of the sports department by posting a 96-77 victory over Alex Corddry. Amorosino caught Corddry on a good week; Corddry was missing Patriots targets Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski and is without QB Ben Roethlisberger for an extended period of time. Corddry pressed the right buttons, getting points out of backup QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and WR Pierre Garcon, but her running backs proved to be her downfall.

Meanwhile, Amorosino remained unbeaten at 3-0-1 thanks to strong performances by Cincinnati QB Andy Dalton, Houston WR DeAndre Hopkins, and Baltimore kicker Justin Tucker.

In the lowest-scoring matchup of the week, Brandon Gunnoe edged Nicole Oliverio, 61-56, to end a two-game losing streak. The loss snapped back-to-back wins for Oliverio. Kris Anderson earned his first win of the year with the most points of the week, toppling Pete Bouchard, 103-89. And Jeremy Reiner outlasted Trey Daerr in a 99-90 shootout.
