A Kansas family found an unwelcome visitor in their bathroom when a snake was discovered in their toilet.
Jamie Garcia said she was getting her sons Andrew and Alex ready for bed when one of them went to use the bathroom and found the snake in the toilet.
"I have two kids, I know nothing about snakes so I didn’t know what to do," said Garcia.
Garcia and her family moved into the house a week ago. Neighbors said the family that lived in the house before them did have snakes.
Garcia had friends come over to help coax the snake out, but it refused to move. They eventually removed the toilet and brought it outside, where it was smashed open with a hammer.
The man who pulled the snake from the toilet said he is going to keep the snake.
