The Patriots and Seahawks are 48 hours away from kickoff in Super Bowl XLIX and their fans are making noise in support.

Seattle has the 12th man and New England has Patriots Nation, but which team has more celebrity support?

Rapper Macklemore and his producer Ryan Lewis love the Seahawks. The hip hop star rubs elbows with Coach Pete Carroll and quarterback Russell Wilson. Macklemore even made his way into the locker room to celebrate the NFC Championship.

Grammy winner Dave Matthews has lived in Seattle for 15 years and even went up to the top of the Space Needle to raise the 12th man flag Seahawks fans love so much.

“We’re going to have a blast and we’re going to scream and hopefully, well no doubt, the tears we shed will be tears of joy,” Matthews said.

The hit parade continues with halftime star Katy Perry who seems to be a Seattle fan.

“I was texting with my good friend Russell Wilson the other day,” Perry said during a news conference.

As do Snoop Dogg and Ariana Grande, and all those grunge rockers.

Pats fans have star power on the big screen. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon bleed Patriots red white and blue.

And let’s not forget about Mark Wahlberg, who watched a game with Bob Kraft in September.

Actor John Krasinski loves all the Boston sports teams and tweeted out a picture of the Patriots logo. Medford’s own Maria Menounos never misses an opportunity to let people know she’s a huge Patriots fan.

Kraft’s friends also include Elton John, an honorary Patriots captain at one point, and Jon Bon Jovi who is known to frequent the owner’s box it Gillette.

Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler loves the pats and sported a sparkly Patriots scarf when he sang the national anthem before the AFC Championship game three years ago.
