Robin Thicke has admitted he did not write “Blurred Lines,” the popular song that launched him into stardom.
The admission is part of deposition in a lawsuit connected to the song. Published reports said Thicke also admitted to showing up to the studio high on alcohol and Vicodin.
In the same testimony, Thicke admitted to using drugs often.
“I was high and drunk every time I did an interview last year,” he said in the testimony.
Thick is currently being sued by the family of the late Marvin Gaye, who claims “Blurred Lines” is very similar to the 1977 hit song by Gaye called,
“Got to Give it Up.”
