Right back into the sunshine today as High Pressure settles south of New England. This position of the High has set up a southwest wind which will warm things up today. Most locations away from the beaches will reach the upper 80s, while coastal areas (beaches too) see their afternoon temps in the upper 70s to low 80s. A little more humidity across the region. Great summer day.

Tomorrow is a hot day. Something that hasn’t been blogged about much this summer but we will reach 90 thanks to a rare heat bubble imported from the midwest. We’ll also see a little more humidity so it’s likely to be an uncomfortable day as we never really got acclimated to summertime heat this year. However, like so many other warm ups this summer this too is short-lived as a cool front will snuff out the heat. In terms of showers & storms with this front, a few isolated showers are possible in the Worcester Hills after 2pm but it’s dry elsewhere. Cooler–more comfortable–air returns to New England on Thursday.

Enjoy your Tuesday!
