Our delightful summer is nearing an end—all things do but this one has been special. All the weekend days with sunny weather, all those afternoons with refreshing temps and all those comfortable nights for sleeping. Before we close the books on summer we do have some good ole fashioned summer heat heading this way for the start of the week.

Today offers more sunshine and low humidity. The numbers are warmer than where we have been for much of the month but not too hot…low to mid 80s. Great beach day ahead. Tomorrow we’ll see the temps head through the 80s and for some north of town reach 90. I think Boston-south you fight a sea breeze for much of Tuesday afternoon so that will keep temps around 83-84 but around 5-6pm that sea breeze should collapse sending the temp out at Logan (official temp used for Boston records) up near 90. More humid too. Wednesday will be the hottest of the bunch with most towns between 85-90. The exception will be on the South Coast as well as Cape Cod/Islands with those locations cooled by the ocean….upper 70s.

A cool front will slip through here sending the near-90 degree heat packing—likely for the year. Afternoon temps return to where they’ve been for much of the summer..upper 70s to around 80.

Enjoy!
