Crane tips over on Concord property, no injuries

Posted: Updated:
CONCORD, Mass. (WHDH) - A crane tipped over at a home construction site on an expansive estate in Concord Friday.

The incident occurred at a private home on Fairhaven Hill Road, where the crane was reportedly being used to trim a tree.

Police said crews trimming the tree either set up the crane wrong or the ground gave way.

One man was inside the vehicle when it tipped over and several workers were around the crane, but there were no injuries.

There was no real property damage as the crane was far from the house. There was a great deal of landscaping work being done in the area. The Occupational Safety & Health Administration was called to the scene and state environmental investigators will see if there are any additional concerns following this accident.
