Temps in the 70s to near 80 have been common this August as we’ve been void of the high heat, and this upcoming 7day forecast features more of the same.
Today will likely be the warmest of the week with highs just past that 80 degree mark for many in Eastern Mass. However, it doesn’t come completely rain-free for all towns. Not that we’ll see a lot of wet weather, but an isolated shower or two pops up this afternoon with the day time heating and a cool front sweeping on through. The highest chance for a passing shower/rumble of thunder is across SE Mass. Again, even if you catch a passing shower, much of the day remains dry.
As high pressure builds continues to build in from our east and northeast mid to late week, stormy weather likely stays to our south and west. We’ll watch for the chance of a passing shower or two Friday-Saturday, but overall, it should stay mainly dry. However, with a cool northeast flow, it may be hard pressed to get much above 70 by the end of the week.
Have a good Sunday!
