Governor Deval Patrick is trying to help people affected by the Revere tornado.
The governor asked the Small Business Administration to issue a declaration of physical disaster for Suffolk County.
That would make low interest loans available to people and businesses affected by the tornado.
Last Monday’s storm destroyed nearly 100 buildings, took down power lines and flipped cars.
