The models have been all over the road this week on the timing and amount or rain for today and Sunday. One thing for sure…..it won’t be a beach weekend but we might be able to eek out a decent day on Sunday.

For today, lots of moisture and rain is lurking just to our south and a slug of that will move up across most of southern New England during a good portion of today.  The steadies and heaviest rain will fall form Boston south, especially over the SE and Cape.  Later today, conditions will try to improve with the rain moving off to the east.

Temperature will be much cooler today with highs in some spots holding in the 60’s, especially along the coast and Cape.  Sunday should feature a better day, still the chance of a few showers but we should see some sunshine and warmer temps well into the 70s an possible near 80.

Warm and muggy weather will be the rule next week with high mostly in the 80s.  The best day looks to be Thursday or Friday with less humid conditions and lots of sun.  Tuesday could be hot with temps in the upper 80s in some locals.

 Enjoy the weekend.
