GORHAM, N.H. (WHDH) -

New Hampshire State  Police  towed away a blue Honda Civic and they will be going through it with a fine tooth comb, just as they have focused on a large shipping container behind alleged kidnapper Nathaniel Kibby's trailer.

Ladders are set up and investigators are looking through Kibby’s belongings searching for any clue they might use to help solve the 9-month disappearance of 14-year-old Abigail Hernandez that began last fall.

Neighbors say 34-year-old Kibby had strong opinions about people taking welfare and one neighbor said he gave her a tour of that container two years ago.

“He had a closet on one end that was probably like 3 feet deep, which carried his guns and all the gun cases with the locks on them. The other part was a workshop and at the other end he kept his motorcycle in it,” Christen Belanger said.

Investigators from the state police, fish and game department and local police have been at Kibby’s trailer for several days, but they are keeping their lips sealed.

Abigail’s disappearance last fall and reappearance in July remain a mystery.

There are affidavits and search warrants that could tell an awful lot about what police think happened to Abigail but at the request of the Attorney General those documents remain sealed.

Residents who live near the crime scene wonder about that sketch released by police that they say does not resemble Kibby.

“The picture they got is round face, he doesn’t have a round face - he's got a long face,” Gerald Steele said.
