That’s more like it!

A much quieter day across the region today as a low humidity, and relatively cool air mass for this time of year, settled in.  With highs in the upper 70s for most, the weather cooperated for all those cleaning up in in Revere and for folks that had outdoor chores to do through the day.

Any scattered clouds melt away this evening and temps drop off quickly.  Back into the lower 50s in the burbs tonight to near 60 in the city of Boston.

Overall, the pattern is quiet for a few days with comfortable levels of humidity in place.  A couple pop up showers are possible north and west of Boston on Thursday afternoon, but much of the time is dry.

By the time we roll into the weekend, we’ll have to keep an eye on a wave of low pressure along a front that’s just to our east.  If it backs in far enough, we may have to deal with some showers.  Pattern is not locked in at this point, so we’ll keep an eye on that as we get closer to the weekend.  I’d at least plan on more clouds and more humidity.

Temps throughout the week and into the weekend hold close to 80. Slightly higher inland, slightly lower at the coast.

We’ve only hit 90 degrees four times thus far in Boston, and looking at the long range, the chance of hitting 90 again is slim, even next week.
