PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (WHDH) - The Portsmouth Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a man believed to be connected with a motor vehicle theft.

The vehicle was taken from the parking lot of the Jackson Gray building on Borthwick Avenue on June 16.

It has since been located in Lawrence, but an investigation revealed that the victim's credit card was used in various locations in Methuen and Lawrence.

The photo of the suspect was taken from surveillance footage from the locations where the credit card was used less than two hours after the theft.

Anyone with information that can assist in identifying the suspect is asked to contact Detective Timothy McCain at (603) 610-7513.
