After the we shook the clouds from SE Mass, a sneaky bank of fog tickled the coast this afternoon. Make that a sneaky, VERY dense plume of fog. It stretched from Scarborough, ME to Scusset Beach, MA:

Fog isn’t much of a worry tonight or tomorrow, however. Southwest winds will send it up the coast to Downeast Maine tomorrow, just as they provide us with an increase in humidity, haze and heat.
The beach will be someplace you’ll want to seek instead of avoid in the coming days. Highs will hover near 90 with the thick air feeding a few widely scattered storms by Wednesday.
Right now, the greatest threat for strong storms seems to be in the afternoon Wednesday with gusty winds and torrential rain the main threat. Post-front, the temps cool markedly by the end of the week.
