The Patriots are speaking out about the exchange of text messages between head coach Bill Belichick and former tight end Aaron Hernandez.
In a statement a lawyer for the team wanted to clarify the number of texts between the head coach and the former tight end.
The lawyer said during an investigation with prosecutors their team produced a total of 34 text messages, not 34 pages of text messages.
They did not disclose what was said in the messages.
