Beacon Hill will be getting some new additions in the near future.
Officials have told people in the neighborhood that the first of more than 250 sidewalk ramps will be going in over the next few weeks.
It is part of an initiative to make the neighborhood less daunting for those who are disabled.
People in the historic neighborhood have reportedly fought the move, claiming it will take away from Beacon Hill’s charm.
