A man accused of going on a crime spree through two towns appeared in court Monday.

Taunton police say 67-year-old Robert Augustine robbed two banks in 15 minutes on Saturday morning.

Police say Augustine first held up the Eastern Bank in Taunton, before moving on to the Santander Bank in Raynham.

He then allegedly approached a third bank, but left after spotting an officer.

Police arrested him after pulling him over for failing to use his turn signal.
