Lynn father sues building owner after sons burned in tub

LYNN, Mass. (WHDH) -

The father of two toddlers burned by hot water in Lynn is suing the owner of the building where the boys were hurt.

The father has filed a lawsuit against the Affordable Housing Associates of Lynn suing the organization for $500,000.

The suit claims scalding hot water in the building caused serious injuries to his sons.

Three-year-old Leland and 18-month-old land on were burned in a bathtub, in June.

The babysitter taking care of the kids at the time is facing child endangerment charges. Charles Collins-Robinson has pleaded not guilty.
