Police in Boxboro pitched in to replace a stolen school bell in front of a historic schoolhouse.
The bell, along with dozens of other historic items, was stolen in April.
Officers have been trying to track it down but they decide to replace it, so that the superintendent of schools could ring it one last time before his retirement.
Police are still looking for the original bell.
