10-year-old suffers cardiac issue at Milford pool

MILFORD, Mass. (WHDH) - A 10-year-old boy in Milford was in critical condition after an emergency at a local pool.

Emergency crews responded to the public pool where the boy reportedly suffered a cardiac issue.

Officials said the boy had gone in for a swim test but started struggling. He was pulled out by a lifeguard and revived by paramedics.

"The call at the pool was handled by a team that was there in minutes," said Milford Police Department Deputy Chief James Heron.
