Without the wind, yesterday would have been a super summer day. Today cleans up that part of the forecast and, although still breezy by many standards, it isn’t as windy. Humidity stays low throughout the day with dry air sticking around in the wake of Arthur.

Essentially a rain-free forecast through the next couple of days too. Slight chance at a few storms across Western New England tomorrow as a weak disturbance washes out. The noticeable thing about tomorrow is the humidity. With the wave of the weather wand, it’s back…with a vengeance.

Dewpoints climb right back to the upper 60s on the heels of that southwest wind. And although the humidity is high, the threat for storms stays low – until midweek.

We’ll keep our eyes peeled for the threat for severe weather by then. Strong storm cells could get out of hand as the upper atmosphere destabilizes and wind shear increases. It’s a recipe for severe weather, but how widespread is still in question.

Enjoy the finish to the holiday weekend and be safe!
