Police looking for hit and run driver in Dorchester

DORCHESTER, Mass. (WHDH) - Boston Police are looking for a driver who was involved in a Dorchester hit and run crash late Thursday night.

Two people were walking down Blue Hill Avenue, near Balsam Street, and were hit by a dark-blue Dodge Charger. Both victims were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The driver reportedly got out of the car, looked at them, then got back in the car and sped the wrong way down Johnston Road toward Morton Street.

Blue Hill Avenue at the intersection of Balsam Street was shut down while police investigated.
