Men struck in alleged purposeful hit and run

Posted: Updated:
HOUSTON (NBC) - Two men standing in a gas station parking lot in Houston, Texas were plowed down by a driver and they're saying it wasn't an accident.

Marcus Chukuwuu said he and his boss stopped at the gas station to fill up after work. The woman driving the silver Buick backed into the space next to them, coming close to the pair. They said they told her to watch out.

"He was like don't kill me and then she was like, 'If I want to kill you I'll shoot you, I won't run you over,'" Chukuwuu said.

Moments later, the woman hit the gas and gunned for the two men.

"She took off ... hit us both and just kept going," Chukuwuu aid.

Both men were taken to the hospital. Chukuwuu injured his back and his boss suffered a head injury. They're hoping that surveillance video will help to catch the woman behind the wheel.

Police are still investigating.
