YOUR SAY: Is it OK for Facebook to manipulate news feeds?

Posted: Updated:
UNDATED (WHDH) -

Facebook manipulated users' news feeds to see if what your friends post on Facebook affects what you post on your timeline.

To do that, the social media site manipulated the news feeds of 690,000 users for about a week back in 2012.

They posted upbeat statuses on some timelines negative ones on others.

They found the more positive the posts were the more positive the users were.

But Facebook users are not happy  saying that while what Facebook did is legal it isn't ethical.

What do you think about Facebook’s social experiment? Post in the comments below or tweet @7News using #YourSay.
