Police respond to shooting in South End

BOSTON (WHDH) - Boston police responded to 5 Castle Court in the South End around 1:50 a.m. Sunday.

Police said officers arrived and saw a 17-year-old male with an apparent gunshot wound. The man was transported to Boston Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said.

BPD said anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
