Yankees honor Jack Lanzollotti before Red Sox game

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (WHDH) -  The Yankees put rivalries aside and honored a member of the Red Sox family before Friday’s game.

The Sox tweeted a picture from the away game, saying "Thank you Yankees for the moment of silence for Jack. #baseballfamily."

Lanzillotti was an award winning production manager for the sox.

He and his girlfriend, Jessica Campbell, were killed last Saturday night, in the Back Bay. They were walking on Beacon Street, when witnesses say a car ran a red light, hit another car, and in the process, hit and killed the couple.

Police are still investigating who was behind the wheel of the car.
