Man arrested with $1M worth of marijuana in apartment

WORCESTER, Mass. (WHDH) -

A Worcester man was arrested on Thursday after police seized approximately 1,100 pounds of marijuana from his apartment.

The man, who identifies as Carlos Martinez and who has also been known as Saul Marquez, came to the police's attention since he was allegedly driving a car that was registered under a false identity. It was revealed that he also had two separate drivers licenses with invalid Social Security numbers.

He was seen operating the vehicle in Worcester and was arrested. State police sought a search warrant for his apartment and found the marijuana stash.

The estimated street value is $1 million.
