Thursday is draft day for the Boston Celtics.

The team has reportedly attempted to acquire the number one pick in this year’s draft from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The pick wouldn’t be for the Celtics to keep, but instead to include in a package deal for Kevin Love.

It turns out the Cavaliers had the same idea and offered the pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The deal fell through though because Love says he won’t sign a long-term deal in Cleveland.

If the Celtics don’t get love, they could try to trade Rajon Rondo as soon as possible.

The Celtics point guard is in the final year of his contract.

The Sacramento kings are reportedly very interested in Rondo.
