BOSTON (WHDH) -
A Connecticut mechanic has a lot of explaining to do to one customer.
The mechanic wrecked a rare Ferrari Enzo sports car on a Connecticut highway Monday. The car sustained heavy damage. Only 400 currently exist in the world. They are valued at $600,000.
Police say the man was driving the 650-horsepower car when it began to fishtail on an entrance ramp, struck the a bridge wall, then spun across three lanes of traffic and crashed into the center divider.
The driver and a passenger escaped serious injury.
Michael Fux of New Jersey, a multimillionaire who made his fortune in mattresses, owns the car.
