A Google worker’s search for a vacation has paid off, thanks to a little help from his daughter.
Katie wrote directly to her dad’s boss.
The letter, written in crayon, is titled, “Dear Google Worker.”
She goes on to explain that sometimes her dad only gets one day off a week, so she asks his boss if he can have Wednesday off. She also adds, “P.S. It is daddy’s birthday. P.P.S. It is summer, you know?”
Katie got a reply.
Her dad’s boss wrote that her dad has been working hard and, “on the occasion of his birthday, and recognizing the importance of taking some Wednesdays off during the summer, we are giving him the while first week of July as vacation time. Enjoy!”
