Answer: Dry....Our Weather & My Sense Of Humor

Posted: Updated:
All remains quiet on the meteorological front as High Pressure is drifting south of New England today which means more dry weather. There will be a few more clouds around compared to yesterday but those clouds don't have raindrops. The rainmakers are a bit farther north & west, up in northern New England as well as western New York state. That's our next weather system, a cool front.

This front really doesn't have much cool air with it but it does have the ability to gather humidity from surrounding areas and eventually push this humidity into New England. Some of you may feel it today but more likely tomorrow. That's also when we will see a few isolated showers from western/central MA up into southern N.H. Metro Boston/North-South Shores and the Cape stay dry despite more clouds & more humidity.

Thursday offers the highest chance of some beneficial rainfall across the region (we're running about ~.60" below normal this month). this time of year the rainfall is usually scattered in nature so some of you will get a nice dose of water on the lawns/gardens (1" of rain) while others may only see clouds/sprinkles. It is a very humid day on Thursday for everyone.

Drier & more comfortable air returns by Friday and into the upcoming weekend!
