BOSTON (WHDH) -
Friends and family are mourning the deaths of Jack Lanzollotti and Jessica Campbell after they were hit and killed by a car in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood.
“The two were almost interchangeable and they were together all the time. There’s no question in my mind this is a couple that probably would have gotten married and lived happily together for the rest of their lives,” Leon Nicholas, Campbell’s boss said.
The couple was out for a walk Saturday night when two cars collided. One of the cars hit them.
Campbell was a senior analyst for Kantar Retail. Her picture was posted on the international marketing firm's website along with condolences. Staffers in several different countries took part in a global conference to remember her.
“This was an opportunity for all of us to gather and let each of us say a few words. People were obviously broken up and very distraught,” Nicholas said.
Lanzollotti’s sister described him as a great brother and hard worker who had dreamed of working for the Boston Red Sox since he was a little boy. That dream was coming true and he was winning awards as a production manager for the team.
