The driver in the crash that killed a young couple in the Back Bay neighborhood Saturday will be arraigned on charges.
Police said Ghuzlan Alghazali, 26, was behind the wheel when she reportedly ran a red light and hit the two pedestrians. Alghazali, who police said does not have a valid Massachusetts drivers license, will be charged with two counts of motor vehicle homicide.
Mohamed Alfageeh, 29, will be charged with misleading investigators. He reportedly told police on the scene he had been driving at the time of the crash.
Jack Lanzollotti and his girlfriend Jessica Campbell were walking down the street when they were hit by one of two cars involved in a crash.
Lanzollotti was pronounced dead at the scene; Campbell was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
