Without a doubt, that summer sun had some work to do this morning as it felt more like the beginning of Fall thanks to a very low humidity air mass in place, allowing for a chilly start to the day.  The sun did it’s job however, warming us up into the middle to upper 70s, with the exception being along the coastline as temps hovered near 70 thanks to sea breezes.  I don’t see much change in the pattern for the rest of the weekend, and that means another cool night tonight with lows falling into the upper 40s in the coolest burbs to the upper 50s in the city.

We’ll start Sunday off bright, but watch midday and afternoon cumulus clouds mix in with that sunshine thanks to just enough instability and moisture in the atmosphere to produce them.  The rain chance remains very low, and the brightest locations will be along the coast as sea breezes keep the atmosphere a bit cooler and more stable.  Highs tomorrow range from the low 70s at the beach to near 80 inland.

Humidity increases a bit early next week, and quite a bit by Wednesday as temps warm back into the middle 80s.   There’s a slight risk of a few thunderstorms scattered about Wednesday late afternoon/night, but don’t count on all towns getting hit.
Enjoy!
