Summer, summer, summertime.  Time to sit back and unwind.

The Summer solstice is Saturday at 6:51AM and the weather heading into and through the weekend turns out just fine.  Cue The Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff Summertime http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kr0tTbTbmVA

That transition to a fantastic weather pattern started today with returning afternoon sunshine and lowering humidity.  The exception was across far SE Mass, where it’ll take until this evening to clear out and dry out.

As high pressure builds in from our north, low humidity and sunshine prevail through the weekend as the next few days features temps near 80 inland and in the lower 70s at the coast.  Okay, maybe a bit cool for the beach, but with lots of sunshine, the sand will be warm and the sunscreen a must.  Heading to the ball field, golf course, wedding or graduation party this weekend?  Two big thumbs up on the weather for that.

Humidity increases a bit early next weekend, and quite a bit by Wednesday as temps warm back into the middle 80s.   There’s a slight risk of a few thunderstorms scattered about Wednesday afternoon/evening, but most of the forecast is a dry one.

Enjoy!
